Regional Recruitment Agency Makes Donation to Local Charity
The Altrincham branch of regional recruitment agency, Forrest Recruitment Ltd recently visited The Autistic Society Greater Manchester Area (ASGMA) to present them with a cheque for £750. The 2 organisations have worked together for some years because Forrest has supplied temporary administrative staff to them when required. Forrest Recruitment Ltd makes charitable donations every year from each of their 9 Northwest-based branches and this year, the Altrincham branch chose ASGMA to be their beneficiary.
The ASGMA is a voluntary organisation set up in 1968 by parents to support parents. It now provides support, information and services to people with an autistic spectrum condition and their families. They help people with difficulties with social relationships, difficulty with verbal and non-verbal communication, difficulty in the development of play and imagination and resistance to change in routine. Nina Forshaw and Tara Feely from Forrest Recruitment met with Vickie Cowell and Pete Halliwell of ASGMA and were shown some of the amazing ways that the organisation helps people on the autistic spectrum. Forrest Recruitment specialises in the temporary and permanent recruitment of commercial office and accounting staff and covers the whole of the Northwest.
