Being the Payroll Specialist within any business is to work closely with Finance, HR and Managers to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and payment of salaries and wages for all permanent employees whilst adhering to legislative and company requirements and policies.

Overall responsibilities will include; Ensuring monthly salaried payroll is processed in an accurate manner, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of monthly employment changes including new starters, transfers, promotions, maternity and paternity, sickness, bonuses, overtime and terminations. Processing complex commission payments, resolve disputes and queries relating to payroll production.

You will have the ability to run a complex monthly payroll, good knowledge of reporting/compliance/accuracy/HMRC/reconciliations/Statutory Payments, be an experienced IT user, strong communication skills, ability to simplify complex payroll information, approachable and helpful and flexible and adaptable to last minute changes.
