Trainee Accounts Assistant                  Runcorn                               up to £25,000 DOE

 

Forrest Recruitment LTD are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join a leading service provider based in the Runcorn area. This is a varied role, covering both Purchase and Sales Ledger and this role forms an integral role in their Finance department!

 

If you have completed your AAT studies and you are now seeking a role where you can utilise your skills and grow your experience, this could be the role for you!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger – Processing high volumes of invoices
  • Gaining Signatures / Authorisations from budget holders for invoices and credit notes
  • Resolving Queries with Suppliers / Budget Holders
  • Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Statement Reconciliation
  • Preparing Payment Runs
  • Month end billing for ad hoc charges to onsite customers
  • Maintenance of all Sales Ledger accounts including allocations
  • Sending regular statements to all debtors
  • Assisting with Credit Control tasks – chasing debt as and when required

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High level of accuracy to their work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work to strict deadlines.
