PURCHASING MANAGER – OLDHAM – PERMANENT – SALARY COMPETITIVE DOE
Forrest Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside an innovative and successful front-runner in their industry. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team
Managing day-to-day activities amongst the team, you will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services whilst ensuring a high level of efficiency is maintained at all times.
You will possess excellent negotiation skills, be able to build strong working relations with suppliers, proven experience of carrying out internal and external audits whilst being able to coordinate and problem solve when needed.
The successful candidate will be working in a similar position with a CIPS qualification or be working towards achieving this, have experience dealing with international vendors, producing contracts and tender documentation and ideally come from a manufacturing or engineering background.
You will be a highly organised, self-motivated, hold excellent leadership skills and be able to take ownership on all activities within the department.
