Job Overview


Working for a large corporate and well established national organisation in beautiful modern offices with excellent facilities located in the heart of Knutsford.

  • Working in a team of 12 finance administrators who look after 8000 suppliers on the purchase ledger
  • Carrying out foreign currency transactions
  • Processing bank transfers/cheque payments for one-off payments
  • Maintaining a dual currency cash book and undertaking the monthly revaluation calculation
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reconciling Foreign bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis from bank statements
  • Working on spreadsheets and a bespoke accounts system which you will be fully trained on
  • Supervising the finance team and assisting them with any escalated queries or issues
  • Deputising in the Chief Cashier’s absence and managing the team
  • Working to processes and strict deadlines
  • General Purchase ledger tasks and administration
  • Trouble shooting and resolving supplier or location site finance issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supervising or managing others in a finance related role, a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, able to communicate effectively with different internal and external stakeholders, excellent team working skills including communication and prioritisation, able to work to tight deadlines while paying good attention to detail.
