Finance Assistant     (Temporary)                           Liverpool                    up to £25k

 

 

Forrest Recruitment Liverpool are seeking to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant, to work for a well-established organisation within the education sector.

 

Role responsibilities:

 

  • Working hours Monday – Friday – 9.00am – 3.00pm (Term time only)
  • Purchase ledger duties including processing purchase orders and credit card invoices and preparing purchase payment run.
  • Sales ledger duties including completing financial admin and invoicing, raising invoices and credit notes, credit control & producing reports.
  • Dealing with enquiries, both over the phone and via email.
  • Negotiating with stakeholders regarding purchase ledger/discounts and payments where necessary.

 

Experience required:

 

  • Proven experience (minimum of 2 years’) in a Finance Team
  • Enhanced DBS – essential
  • Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent IT skills including experience in Microsoft Office suite
