Care Coordinators, South-West England, up to £25k DOE

A large care sector company who has multiple locations across the UK, are searching for a Homecare Coordinator to join their Plymouth & Swindon branches. You will liaise with staff and clients, take bookings from clients and match their needs to their extensive workforce of highly trained carers and nurses.

  • You will work as part of a small, busy, and friendly branch.
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients and provide them clear guidelines on business Terms.
  • Carry out client visits including care assessments.
  • Arrange staff rotas to ensure the proper continuity of ongoing delivery of care.
  • Cover care calls when needed.
  • Reallocating shifts as necessary to cover staff absence.
  • Be involved in workers performance management.
  • Talk to clients and their chosen representatives about their care and support taking account of different communication.
  • Working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday – Friday + 1 weeknight per week + 1 one on call weekend per month.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the care sector.

They will need to be self-motivated and driven to achieve targets. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with clients and applicants on a daily basis. Time management and organisational skills are paramount as you will be part of a busy working environment. Previous experience in recruitment, or a sales/recruitment qualification would be beneficial. You will also need to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
