Bookkeeping Assistant – Liverpool City Centre – Permanent – up to £28k DOE


Forrest Recruitment LTD are currently working in partnership with a financial services client who are seeking to recruit Bookkeeping Assistant to join their team based in Liverpool City Centre. Reporting to the Accounts Managers, role responsibilities include:


  • General bookkeeping duties for up to 25 clients at one time – both domestic and international
  • Raising and processing of invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Matching of payments and receipts
  • Cash & overseas transactions
  • VAT returns
  • Dealing directly with clients via phone and email
  • Working hours of 8.30am – 5.00pm Mon – Thurs and 8.30am – 1.30pm Friday.

Role requirements:

  • Upwards of 3 years’ experience in accountancy practice
  • Knowledge of Xero & Quickbooks
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage your time and meet deadlines
