Job Overview


A leading cargo-handling business (with FREE on-site parking) have an exciting role to join their billing team. They offer a vast array of ground handling services to various airports and have a lovely opportunity for a proven accounts clerk

  • Core duties include raising accurate invoices for customers within agreed billing periods
  • Ensuring the information within the invoice is accurate so that payments can be paid on time
  • Following up and raising credit notes if required
  • Ensuring each sales invoice is coded correctly and inputted onto the system, accordingly, allocated to the correct cost centre.
  • Carrying out pre-invoice checks
  • Submitting invoices in a timely manner to customers
  • Using the in-house system to source any missing information
  • Raising sales invoices to any third-party recharges
  • Preparing monthly volume related discounts and accruals
  • Obtaining purchase orders
  • Collecting and sorting paperwork, such as delivery notes and any associated security and airline paperwork
