ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT                             WIDNES                     UP TO 25K DOE

 

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a business based in Widnes. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody for somebody to further develop their experience within Accounts and to grow this role in to a much larger role!

 

DUTIES OF THE ROLE INVOLVE:

  • Checking, coding and processing high volumes of invoices and expense claims
  • Processing miscellaneous payments
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Preparing journals for end of month management accounts
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Dealing with escalated complaints
  • Working with suppliers and internal customers to deal with issues relating to invoices

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?

  • Experience of Purchase Ledger and processing high volume of invoices – or – A business, finance or maths graduate, or actively studying AAT with some finance experience.
  • High attention to detail
  • Can use own initiative to complete adhoc duties
