Forrest Recruitment’s Crewe branch support two local charities

Here at Forrest Recruitment we are keen to give back and support our local community and charities in the local areas. Each year we donate to local charities and this year the Crewe office has decided to support The Lady Verdin Trust in Crewe and Cheshire Deaf Society in Northwich.

Lady Verdin Trust was established as a registered charity in December 1982 and became a ‘not for profit’ company limited by guarantee in 1992. Since 1982, The Lady Verdin Trust has supported adults with learning disabilities living in south Cheshire particularly Crewe & Nantwich.

Their unique approach is based on the philosophy of equality and mutual respect. The company provide all clients with the encouragement, support and opportunity to live independent, fulfilling lives within their local community. They support adults with all degrees of learning disabilities, people with Autistic Spectrum disorders and other physical disabilities. Over the years they have grown and now have a team of over 160 people most of who work directly with clients.

Deafness Support Network are part of Cheshire Deaf Society. The company have been formed since 1974 and began as a board of Trustees, supporters, local authorities and organisations who are a service provider for Deaf people in the local area.

The local societies/ clubs serve their community with workshops and clubs and act as a support guide for local organisations/ individuals with hearing loss.

They provide day services and a range of development activities that are dedicated to the Northwich Community. Services include:
