It was an honour to visit Wigan & Leigh Hospice this week to have a grand tour of the impressive facilities/gorgeous grounds and to hear all about the amazing work they do. I was absolutely blown away by the lengths this wonderful team go to in order to give patients the most personal touch, peaceful surroundings and dignity in their final days. The passion of Amy Jones/Lindsey Butler in the Fundraising team and the dedication of their staff (and many volunteers) is inspiring! I was taken aback to learn that the service costs £10k every single day to run, so as a Registered Charity every single penny of fundraising counts and we are delighted to be able to assist by giving a donation.
