Altrincham based Recruitment Consultants Jennifer Taylor and Tara Feely took on a challenge of endurance to raise vital funds for two local charities.
 
Jennifer and Tara who joined Forrest Recruitment just over a year ago, joined together to take on the gruelling Great Manchester Cycle on Monday 4^th June. The cycle challenge took participants through a trek in and around Manchester City.
 
Jennifer decided to take part in the cycle to raise money for Wythenshawe Hospital (UHSM) and Christies Hospital after her father was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.
 
“It was important for me and my family to turn a negative situation into something positive and try to raise cash for the hospital that is caring for my dad”, Said Jennifer “My Dad is being treated in the Cecilia Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. The care he is receiving is amazing. It’s great that I can give something back to help them in their care for other patients.”

Tara said, “The support we’ve received from our clients and our colleagues has been amazing. We’d really like to thank everyone who has donated. Whilst the cycle was quite tough for me and Jen, the support we recieved has made it all worthwhile.”
