Forrest Recruitment Ltd has recently donated to the local Charity ‘Wigan and Leigh Hospice’. Danielle Sharrock and Natalie Shaw visited the local Charity to present a £500 cheque to Julie Dennis who is the charity’s Fundraising and Events Officer at Wigan and Leigh Hospice.

The Hospice provides palliative care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses; as a registered Charity it currently cares for over 1,000 patients in the Wigan Borough every year. Providing vital care and support to people out in the community, in nursing/care homes and at the Hospice building in Hindley.

They do not charge for their care and rely greatly on donations from the local community to enable services to continue. In order for this caring support to happen the Charity must raise in access of £7,400 per day so our donation will hopefully contribute to the funding required to make a difference to the lives of many of their patients.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice is a Charity that is very close to Natalie’s heart; having needed to use their services last year to assist with a close family member. Many people may know somebody close to their hearts and we hope that people will continue to help contribute to this great service!!!
